International Standard Version
44 The Lord gave them peace[a] all around them, just as he had promised their ancestors. Not one of their enemies was able to oppose them—the Lord placed all of their enemies under their control. 45 Not one of the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed—all of them came about.[b]
